Streamline Your Work with Custom Templates

As part of your OpenAsset subscription, you can purchase custom templates to instantly create professional, on-brand documents. These templates connect directly to your OpenAsset library, automatically pulling project and employee information into a ready-made design.

Key Benefits:

  • Save Time: Automatically populate documents with correctly sized images and up-to-date information in just a few clicks.

  • Ensure Brand Consistency: Give your team access to approved, up-to-date versions of your documents, ensuring everyone’s work looks professional.

  • Simplify Re-branding: When it's time for a brand update, you only need to change the core template instead of hunting down and editing dozens of separate files.

Supported Programs

We can build templates that export to the following file types. When submitting your request, please let us know which program you will be using.

  • Adobe InDesign (.idml)

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx)

  • Microsoft Word (.docx)

Our Goal: Getting You 80% of the Way There

Our templates are designed to do the heavy lifting for you, getting your document about 80% complete instantly. We build them to be flexible and cover your most common needs.

You should expect to make minor tweaks and final adjustments after exporting. This approach is much faster for everyone—it avoids a lengthy development process for niche details that you can adjust in seconds, giving you the final say on your document.

Process Overview

  1. Your team will send an example and a “blank” template (in the program that you would like the template exported to) that show exactly what you are looking for. You should send this to your primary point of contact at OpenAsset - if you are currently onboarding, it will be your Implementation Manager. If you have launched within your firm, send these documents to your Customer Success Manager.

    • Please include applicable fonts/styles as well as any logo photos included on your template.

    • The blank template should have field names that match the field names you have in OpenAsset.

  2. If your template has limitations that our team cannot accommodate, we’ll let you know before submitting. Then, we will then submit your template to be manually scripted by our team of Support Engineers.

  3. You can expect your first draft of your template within 6 weeks of submitting the request to our submission Support Team’s services queue.

  4. If applicable, you will have up to three rounds of minor revisions, each with a two-week timeframe.

  5. Once your template is approved, you can start using and sharing it with your team!
