Do you want to reduce the time it takes to gather interesting inspirational content into OpenAsset? By using Zapier you can integrate Pinterest with OpenAsset in countless different ways!

For example, you can:

  • Upload an image to OpenAsset when it is pinned on a particular Pinterest board.

  • Upload previous pins by copying them to a new board.

Getting started

It is super simple to get up and running with Zapier integrations, below we outline the steps to get you started.

  1. Create a Zapier account. You can create an account for free!

  2. Create an integration. Below is a sample integration you could try out.

Sample integration

Upload an image pinned on Pinterest to OpenAsset

Find yourself collecting great inspirational images on Pinterest, but need to easily get them into OpenAsset? This Zapier automation will upload any new pin to OpenAsset, and make a note of where you found the image so you can avoid copyright headaches.

First create a new board in Pinterest, and put a test pin on it.

Pick the board when configuring the Pinterest part of the integration.

You'll need to choose the Category in OpenAsset where you want the files uploaded to.

Remember to make sure it is turned on.

There are some other fields you can optionally fill in when a file is uploaded.
