File Categories are used to differentiate between project files and non-project files.
Examples of Categories
- Projects (project-based) - Files are stored within a project that contains a name and and a unique number/code.
- Reference (non-project) - Files are not tied to a project. These could be inspirational images, stock photography, event photos, staff headshots, etc.
You can manage your Categories by navigating to 'System' > 'Categories' within the Settings menu.
From the following page, select 'Edit' next to the relevant category. You can configure the following options for your Category.
