Our Suggested Keywords feature uses AI technology to scan your image and recommend particular Keywords that are relevant, enabling you to tag your files more efficiently. The Suggested Keyword section lives at the top of your Keywords tab on the File Page.

These suggestions may be words that already exist in your taxonomy or ones that are entirely new.

Tagging Keywords that already exist in your taxonomy

If a suggested Keyword already exists in your taxonomy, the suggestion will be highlighted in a dark blue color. When you hover over the Keyword it will say ‘In Taxonomy’ in a tooltip. Because these Keywords already exist in your system, all you need to do is click on the word and the Keyword will be tagged.

Note: Your platform will only suggest Keywords to users who have permission to add tag Keywords.

Tagging Keywords not already in your taxonomy

If a suggested Keyword does not exist in your taxonomy, the suggestion will be highlighted in a light blue color. When you hover over the Keyword it will say ‘New Keyword’ in a tooltip. Because these Keywords are new to your system, you’ll need to add them to a Keyword Category first, before tagging them to your image.

To do this, you’ll simply click on the Keyword and select the relevant category. Our system will also suggest a new category if your existing categories do not fit. Once added to a category, the Keyword will remain in your taxonomy for future tagging.

Note: Your platform will only suggest new Keywords (ie. those not already in your taxonomy) to users who have permission to add new Keywords to your taxonomy.

Treat Keyword Suggestions as Suggestions!

No AI is perfect yet, so we recommend treating these Keyword suggestions as exactly that - suggestions. In other words, we don’t recommend blindly tagging all of the Keyword suggestions, without making sure that they are relevant to your image. You should still scan your images and ensure the suggestions are accurate, and use this feature to both speed up your tagging process, and also provide inspiration for other Keywords that might be relevant.
