Step 1: In your OpenAsset system, go to Settings --> System Settings -->Integrations --> Connections (under the "Deltek" section) --> click "view/edit" on the connection you'd like to make a change to.
Step 2: Click the "edit" button at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Click “Next” on the first form.
Step 4: Unless the integration account for the OpenAsset <> Deltek connector makes use of NTLM / Windows AD login (Very rare, typically only On-Prem Clients on Vision) - ensure the “NTLM/Basic Username”, “NTLM/Basic Password”, and “Realm (Basic only) fields are empty, and click “Next."
Step 5: You’ll see your Password and Secret fields empty here. Enter in the new password, and LEAVE THE SECRET FIELD BLANK.
You don’t need to touch anything except the password field. Click Save. If you have an issue, the password likely needs to be validated by a login attempt on the Deltek frontend, or the account has been disabled by the connector’s attempts to authenticate with bad credentials.
If you can confirm that neither of these are the case, please contact support@openasset with screenshots of the account enabled and confirm that the password reset has been validated with a login to the Deltek frontend.
