You may find it useful to reorder files that you have gathered. For example, you may prefer to order your Selection before you drag them into InDesign. Or it may be important to have images in a specific order in an Album. This article explains how you can do this.
Reordering Images in your Selection
From the file search results page, create a selection images by clicking the check marks, then click the 'Selected' tab from the top-left.
Click the 'Reorder Selection' button from the top-right.
This puts you into 'reorder mode'. From here you can choose to order the Selection by criteria such as Filename or Date Created.
Or, you can drag each image individually to the position that you would like it. Once you are happy with your order, click the 'Done' button in the top right.
Reordering Images within an Album
It is also possible to reorder the files in any Albums that you have rights to modify. The process is exactly the same; you just need to be viewing one Album in the file search results.
You can either find the Album on the Albums page, then click through to view its Files…
or search for Files in the Album using the main search menu at the top of the screen.
When you are viewing one Album on the File search page, you will see the Album title at the top.
Then follow the same steps outlined above.
